It is no wonder many people do not think very much of real estate agents. I am dealing with one right now that has yet to return a phone call. I showed a listing of hers a week ago, wrote a cash offer $10,000 over the asking price and submitted it. She did not acknowledge receipt or return my calls, so I submitted it again with a return receipt. She still did not acknowledge receiving the offer. Finally, she returned one of my texts with the message "got it" indicating that she had received my buyer's offer. Now six days later, and a day after the expiration of our offer, she still has not called, e-mailed or texted to let me know what is going on. Today after e-mailing, voicemailing and texting, I finally received a text back stating "I don't have an answer from the sellars yet." Yes, she misspelled sellers, and anyone can have a typo. My gut feeling is she probably does not know how to spell seller though, since she has only represented five in the last five years.

I know I am the Real Estate Optimist, but it is hard to put a positve spin on someone as unprofessional as this.
