There are still two days left, but right now there have been over 1,100 closed sales with a median price of $255,000 in the tri-county area. While the number of closed sales remains low there remains fairly strong support for the median price. It will be interesting to see where the final sales numbers are for the month, since a lot of closing occur in the last couple of days. Also, the inventory this month only creeped up slightly. Foreclosures are finally starting to show up in the MLS, and they could end up being the next big story in our real estate market. I am not quite sure how they will affect things.
