Sales in March were up pretty significantly over February, but the median sales price took a hit. In February the median price was up to $255,000, but March saw that number drop to $240,000. Of course any time you have a swing like that in one month there could be a wave of condos that closed or other circumstances like that effecting the monthly number. I have not dug into the details yet, so it is hard to say that prices have truly come down. The other news this week is interest rates, which seem to be getting upward pressure. If prices are down and interest rates are starting to rise, NOW is the time to buy.
