I am closing a brand new home in Arbor Ridge today, and it always feels good to get a transaction closed. That is especially true of a new home for a first time home buyer. Even building a new home has its challenges to overcome. In this case, the builder did a fine job managing their construction and completed the home with no major issues. The home is even finished in time for the buyer to qualify for the first time home buyer tax credit.

The problem we ran into on this transaction was with the builder's preferred lender. After repeated requests for help from the bank were essentially New Home in Arbor Ridgedismissed, the builder stepped in and did what they could to make this right. In the end we were able to get the builder to allow the buyer to use his own lender. She has been able to set this boat right again, and we have had smooth sailing since. Today, the buyer is going to be able to close on his first home.
