I just got off the phone with Marilyn Wilson with the WAV Group. We were speaking about a program she is working with that will bring real estate statistics down to the neighborhood level in an easy to use graphical format. Clarus Market Metrics is a sophisticated name for what I hope is a simple solution to the question what is the market like in my neighborhood. I have not seen it yet, so the jury is out for now. I am looking forward to giving it a try. In the mean time, Marilyn gave me a great new defintion for REO. Here in Orlando it is appropriate for REO to stand for Really Enthusiastic Offer.

When well priced REO's hit the market, there are often lines of anxious buyers waiting to see these properties. Of course after you have made five offers on these properties only to be told the bank took someone elses contract, you may be less inclined to be so enthusiastic.
