I am on my soapbox today, because I believe voting is more than just our right as American citizens. It is our responsibility and our duty to all those who have fought and died for our liberty. It is not about the government, it is about the country and the people. When you don't vote "they" gain a little more power and the people lose. If you don't vote, then don't be surprised by what goes on at city hall, at the state capital or in Washington DC.

Today is election day across America, and only a small percentage of people will exercise this all important right to choose. With early voting, and absentee ballots there is no excuse not to cast our vote. Everyone seems fed up, many have given up and 70% of Americans see the nation going in the wrong direction. Our government is supposed to work for us, not the other way around. Voting is our chance to take back the reigns and get ourselves headed down the right path. A path free of government roadblocks and tolls; a path we choose for ourselves, not pre-determined for us. We all need to go to the polls and cast our ballot for ourselves, our families, our heritage and our legacy. A better tomorrow begins today.

Let's go vote!
